[The implication that Hubert has slammed his head into things more than once is comedy gold.

When he answers, Hubert will find that Will's transformations haven't changed either. This time, thankfully, he's not injured or unsteady on his hooves. He's used to this by now.]

Hubert! Hello!

[He trots past Hubert with his wings carefully tucked in so he doesn't smack the man on the way through. Once he's through, he turns to Hubert with a grin while he makes his way to the living room.]

Naturally! And I think you know why, too. [Wink!] It's been a while since we talked about it, so that's why I'm here!

[He gently lowers himself onto the couch and does his best to get comfortable. The wings and tail just don't make it very easy.]

I see you've retained your usual transformation. How's Edelgard handling hers? [...here comes the flood of questions:] And what did she turn into, anyway? Is she here?

[He absolutely has and will continue to slam his head into things whenever it suits me!!

Anyway, Hubert sighs as Will starts the deluge of questions, shaking his head.]

She isn't here, and I would prefer not to share information like that.

[He pauses, considering how that sounds, and then lifts his shoulders a bit as he moves to sit nearby.]

It isn't as though there is any reason to hide it, but her transformations are her own to share.

[Essentially he just doesn't feel comfortable giving any information away about her. If she's comfortable with talking about her transformations, then she can discuss them with Will, it isn't his place.]

[Hubert's unwillingness to spill even a single drop of metaphorical tea on Edelgard brings Will to utter a similar sigh. He definitely expected this though, so his apparent irritation is more for show than anything serious.]

How can you somehow be fun and yet so not fun at the same time? [His smile returns shortly after.] Nah, I'll ask her myself. She'd probably be able to give me the in-depth stuff better than you could. You don't observe monsters in the same ways I do.

[He's saying he's going to be checking Edelgard out right to Hubert's face.

Okay, so what about you, then? Same appearance aside, have you felt anything different behaviorally? Any new urges, dietary changes, that sort of thing...?

[DO NOT CHECK OUT LADY EDELGARD— But thankfully Will's wise enough to move on, so aside from some minor irritation, Hubert lets it go.]

As much as I'd like to say that I've adapted entirely, it does seem that every month there are some slight differences. Lately I find myself very distracted at night. I keep fighting off the urge to get up high somewhere and howl at the moon.
