I'm settling in just fine, as well. Thank you for asking. It's all a bit overwhelming, admittedly, but I think that could be said for a lot of others.

It is a good amount of new things to get accustomed to regardless of what world you're from.

[Though obviously some of us are having more difficulty with the tech than others...]

I've noticed that. I've had to help a few people with their devices, for example. You'd think they would have given a primer of sorts to those who have no experience with it, but...

Have you been adjusting to it, though? The technology.

Much of it is self-explanatory once you know the basics, but it certainly would have been appreciated if they'd thought to explain that to start with. I imagine that was an oversight; they likely weren't expecting so many people with no experience with this sort of technology.

[So that one probably isn't some kind of grand conspiracy. Probably.]

I've been adapting well enough; I still have plenty to learn, but it's become easier now that I've had some time with it.

Ah, that's fair enough. Hopefully if this happens again for whatever reason, they'll be able to anticipate that.

It's nothing bad at all. When we met shortly after arriving, I mentioned that I loved the coffee from my world. She said complimenting a place's coffee sounded like something you might do about a place you like.

I'm not surprised you get along well with her; she's the sort to befriend everyone.

I can tell. She's very friendly, even right from the start. Have you two known each other for very long? If you don't mind my asking.

We've known each other for five years; we attended classes at the Officers Academy together.

The Officers Academy? What sort of classes do you take there?

[darkbishop]

We no longer attend, but while we were there we were trained in combat. We both studied magic.

[And Dorothea also studied swords and learned how to dance for a competition?? Fire Emblem.]
